Finding a released person in Utah starts with identifying the system that last held them. A county sheriff, the Utah Department of Corrections, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, or immigration authorities each keep different records. This privately operated site organizes those routes in one statewide reference.

Why This Site Exists

Utah release information is split by jurisdiction. A county sheriff documents a local jail release after bond, time served, a court order, or another disposition. The Utah Department of Corrections, known as UDC, provides an offender search for people currently incarcerated or under UDC supervision, while Board orders help confirm parole and termination actions. Former federal prisoners are searched through the BOP system, and immigration custody has a separate ICE locator. This site serves as the statewide route to those official sources and to each county's release-record guidance.
